Your job today is to become an expert on your chosen decade and create a web 2.0 project to share with the class. Below is a list of questions to answer as well as additional requirements for the project.

 

  1. What words and/or quotes would describe this decade?

     

     

  2. Who had the greatest influence on fashion? (may be a number of people)

     

     

  3. What was the prominent silhouette?

     

     

  4. What designers and/or labels were prominent?

     

     

  5. What were the trends/fads/crazes of this decade?

     

     

  6. What colors were popular?

     

     

  7. What accessories were worn?

     

     

  8. What movies, shows, books, etc. are representative of the time?

     

     

  9. What clothing parallels can be made to other time periods?

     

     
    10.What historical moments/events occurred and who were the most influential figures during this decade?  (minimum of 10)

      

     

    Requirements:

    -minimum number of references: 2 books & 2 websites/online sources (does not include pictures)

    -cite all information and pictures

    -create a hand out for the class for future reference

    -use pictures to help us understand your decade, not just as filler 

     

    Bonus:

    -share important news clips, videos, movie scenes, etc. that exemplify your decade (5 minute maximum)
